Dear Friends and Family,
Merry Christmas from our bustling household! As the year comes to a close, we are taking a moment to reflect on the many blessings and memorable moments that have filled our days. Here’s a peek into what 2024 has been like for the Fox crew.
Blake hit a major milestone this year: he earned his driving permit! If you’ve seen us clutching the car door a little tighter, now you know why. We are so proud of his growing independence and can’t wait to see him flourish as a confident driver (while praying for everyone’s nerves in the meantime!). We are also actively exploring post-high school education options for him in the field of chemistry, as he’s shown a strong academic ability and interest in this area. Blake also got his braces off this year, revealing a fantastic new smile! He has been working one day a week for Feed the Hunger which has been a great experience for him.
Owen keeps us on our toes with his enthusiastic drive for the latest ever-changing interest. One week he’s exploring woodworking, the next he’s tinkering with a dissected drone or testing out a new sport. This year, he even tried his hand at baseball, adding yet another adventure to his growing list of hobbies. His curiosity and enthusiasm for trying new things make life exciting for all of us.
Liza remains our passionate and girly star. Whether she’s crafting, dressing up, or dreaming big, she brings boundless energy and creativity to our home. Her vibrant spirit reminds us to celebrate the beauty in every moment. This year, Liza decided to take a break from ballet to explore new interests and is looking forward to trying soccer this spring!
Ian, our resident comedian, keeps us laughing daily. His quick wit and knack for finding humor in the smallest situations brighten even the busiest days. Along with wanting his two from teeth for Christmas, he has been fascinated by seeds and nuts adding to his eclectic collection over the past year. We’ll admit he’s a bit spoiled—but with his charm, who can blame him? Ian also started first grade this year, and we are so proud of how much he’s grown and learned!
We feel so blessed by God’s grace and provision throughout this year. Christmas is a time to celebrate the gospel message of Jesus Christ—the greatest gift of all. Through His birth, life, death, and resurrection, we are offered forgiveness for our sins, salvation and hope that transcends every circumstance. May this season remind us all of God’s boundless love and His promise of eternal life through faith in His Son. Thank you for being part of our journey. Your prayers, friendship, and love mean so much to us.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with peace, love, and laughter, and a New Year full of promise.
With love,
The Fox Family
